A musical based on one of the great English classics, The Jungle Book, comes to life on stage as never before. Experience Rudyard Kipling’s exotic tale of a young boy named Mowgli, who was raised in the jungles of India by a pack of wolves. There he learns the laws of the jungle from his good friends, Baloo, the bear and Bagheera, the black panther. Come and join Mowgli and a pack of other characters that he meets along the way: Kaa, the crafty snake, a pack of friendly orangutans, Shere Khan, the dangerous Bengal Tiger and, of course, the beautiful young girl from the human village. All these characters, plus his own life adventures, help Mowgli grow up from a mere “man-cub” to a young man who becomes a true leader.
The various roles include the animals and humans he meets in the jungle. Kaa the snake, Baloo the bear, Bagheera the panther, Shere Khan the Tiger, his wolf family, the villagers, and, of course, the friendly pack of singing orangutans.
