With The Lightning Thief around the corner, a class to design our costumes will not only prepare us for a phenomenal Spring show, but will also provide our budding designers a space to explore their creativity while learning the skills of a costume designer. In this class, we will learn how to collaborate with an artistic team to understand a production’s design vision and establish costuming needs. We will learn the process of studying a character to ultimately design one to a few costumes together using various design tools including swatches, drawings and photographs. Not only will our work end up in The Lightning Thief production this Spring, but we will also design show boards and  slideshow together to showcase our work at the end of session.
