In this class, students will learn the fundamentals and rules of improvisational (improv) theater. Students will learn how to build characters and convey emotions in a believable way through improv games and character-building exercises. Students will develop their active listening and teamwork skills while finding the comedy in improvised scenes. Most importantly, students will gain confidence on stage and trust in their fellow performers.

Patrick Pulpan

Hey y'all, my name is Patrick! I'm a bay area native who started my stage career in Cabrillo Stage's "CHICAGO" and "Beauty & the Beast" along side former CYT Camp Director, Catrina Contini. I recently moved back to SC after being in New York City the past four years doing stand up comedy and being apart of the Broadway Comedy Club's children improv team "8 @ Eight". I'm overjoyed to be teaching improv classes this Fall and cannot wait to meet you all in person!
