Description

In this class, we will discuss the basics of all that make-up a performance. We will hone in on a foundation of acting, singing and choreography. You will learn key concepts, like how to engage an audience, and terms, for example stage positioning or audition sides, to set you up for success as a newer performer. Join now for an exciting, fun class balanced with lessons, games, and plenty of opportunities to perform!

Michael Navarro

Michael is an experienced musical theater performer and alum of CYT Santa Cruz. He is currently studying at Cabrillo College while continuing to perform and work in the arts. He has assisted 4 CYT classes and helps develop the CYT @ schools program. Michael has performed for Monte Vista Christian School, All About Theater, CYT Santa Cruz, and Cabrillo Stage. He has spent time in New York and locally in Santa Cruz to help further develop his passion for teaching and the fine arts.
