Extra, extra! Read all about it! Calling all 4-7 year olds to join in learning all about how to hone your inner triple threat at CYT Santa Cruz’s Our Gang class. In this class, students will discover and develop their skills in singing, dancing, and acting all while learning “Carrying the Banner” from the Broadway play, Newsies. In addition to developing performance skills, confidence, and friendships, students will learn about everything that goes into making a show happen! While the students enrolled in this class are too young to participate in the main stage production of Newsies, we aim to immerse the students in the story, and prepare them for their two spectacular performances where they will showcase what they’ve learned and get experience on the big stage opening for the CYT Newsies production. This class will perform in conjunction with the Scotts Valley branch of our Gang, leading to a great opportunity for collaboration and more friendships. There’s no box left unchecked in this class! Join in on the fun and watch all the headlines reading “Star on the Rise” in no time!

Students will have the opportunity to rehearse with the Scotts Valley group on Thursday, October 27 from 4:30-6:30pm at Regeneration Church in Scotts Valley.  There will not be class at New Hope on Tuesday, October 25th.
