Summer Camps 2013
CYT Musical Theater Summer Camp is one of the most affordable quality musical theatre camps in California. In the morning, students rotate with their team to a variety of theater classes including dance, drama & voice taught by qualified instructors. Summer campers play exciting outdoor games before they come together with all the teams for showcase rehearsal. Join us at Twin Lakes Church for our 2013 Junior Summer Camp, Pirates and Princesses! At this camp we will be learning and performing a variety of swashbuckling pirate songs along with some beautiful fairytale princess songs. Campers will be exposed to many different aspects of theater, such as drama, voice, dance and more. Our camp activities will be themed around “Pirates and Princess”; we’re ready for an enchanted treasure seeking adventure with this camp so register today!

This best loved musical by three-time Academy Award-winner Stephen Schwartz has been specially adapted for use at a camp. Godspell is a groundbreaking and unique retelling of the gospel of Matthew. It shows a reflection of the life of Jesus, with a message of kindness, Grace and love. Godspell features a string of recognizable songs, including the international hit "Day By Day." Join us and be transformed as we bring this amazing music to life, telling the most important story of all.

Our Shakespeare camp endeavors to explore one of the works of William Shakespeare: "As You Like It." Kids 8-14 will work on re interpreting and rewriting the play and will perform what they have written alongside an abridged version of the original to be performed on the same day by the Master campers. It will be a week of learning and wacky fun all with a Shakespearean theme! Explore the world of Shakespeare and Elizabethan games and food in this multi-sensory experience.
