Microphone Fund

Microphones make up a sizeable portion of every shows budget. We rent microphones to the tune of well over $3000 per year! Last year, the purchase of 10 microphones have allowed us to have larger casts and reduce our rental costs. If you would like to contribute to this fund, and start reducing our show costs, click here and designate it for microphones.

Scholarships

At CYT Santa Cruz, we never want a child to be denied training in the arts because of money. We currently give over 60 scholarships yearly, yet there is no designated fund for that money to come from. Money is taken from our operating budget to cover scholarships. If there was money for those scholarships to be funded by, it would help CYT reach our bottom line and serve those less able to afford arts education for their kids.

Ensemble: $100

Supporting Character: $250
Ensemble + 2 tickets to current show

Leading Character: $500
Ensemble + 4 tickets to current show and a cast photo

Ensemble + 4 tickets to current show, 4 tickets to future show, and a cast photo

Corporate Sponsorship: $3000
Director + full page program ad in a full season (3shows) of programs

Show Sponsor: $6000+
Corporate sponsorship + company logo on CYT marketing materials for show of your choice, company logo displayed on CYT website for that show's session, 8 free tickets to show of your choice, special preshow announcement of company's sponsorship, framed and autographed cast picture from all 3 shows

Season Sponsor: $12,000+
Corporate sponsorship + company logo on CYT marketing material for all three shows, company logo with link to your website on CYT Santa Cruz site for full season, 10 free tickets to all 3 shows, pre-show announcement of company's sponsorship at all 3 productions, Framed and autographed cast picture from all 3 shows

Other Ways to Support Us

We rely on non-cash donations to stage our plays and greatly appreciate all support. Please contact our Managing Director to get more information on how you can help.

Volunteer Help

We are in need of individuals who would be willing to donate their time and/or materials to alter costumes and build sets to make our play complete. If you have seamstress/tailor, painting skills, or construction skills, we would greatly appreciate your time and energy.

Storage Space

Our program is currently in the process of expanding and we could really use some donated office and storage space. A permanent home would provide our ministry additional organizational capabilities and take the stress and strain off our of our volunteers very overloaded homes. Please contact the Staff with any help you can provide.

Rehearsal Facilities

We are always on the lookout for ideal rehearsal spaces to prepare for our productions. If you know of a facility we could utilize at a nominal price, we would really like to hear from you. Please contact the Staff with any help you can provide.

Finding facilities where we can stage our productions is always a challenge. Our casts are sometimes very large and the sets are very elaborate.
