2025-2026 Season

Introducing a new season structure…

This year CYT is offering MULTIPLE show tracks at the same time, with unique schedules, age opportunities and shows. CYT’s goal is to offer quality theater arts training that brings families and communities together and we are excited to accomplish this with double the fun this year!

Main Stage

Main Stage Shows are the “old” show structure we know and love but now with a cast cap of around 65. Rehearsals will continue to be Friday nights and Saturday mornings. Auditions will continue to be open to 8-18. However, these spots are first come first serve- so sign up to secure your spot before we hit the cast size limit!

Spotlight

Spotlight shows are the new show structure that emphasizes training and allows us to focus on the growth of a specific group of students. Cast cap is around 35 and auditions are open to a specific age range of students with potential additional opportunities determined by each show. Since Spotlight shows are a more educationally focused experience they are a partnership between classes and shows with rehearsals on Monday evenings (in lieu of class), Saturday afternoons and select small calls on Friday evenings. These spots are also first come first serve- so sign up to secure your spot before we hit the cast size limit!

Actors are not required to be off book for a staged reading, and some (or all) of the stage directions will be read aloud. Visual elements such as props, sets and costumes will be limited. Rehearsals will be a week long with one day of performance(s).

Our younger students will get the opportunity to be led by the older students they look up to to build community.
