Please note that registering for this class does not guarantee a spot in one of our current shows.

In Beginning Tap we will cover the basics of tap technique: rhythm, counting, and lots of tapping! We will learn flaps, shuffles, toe/heels, weight shifts, cramp rolls, digs, brushes, etc., and combine those into easy combinations like rhythm rolls, maxiford, paradiddles, shuffle off to buffalo, and even the basic time step. Mostly, we will have lots of fun! 

 Each of our shows has a limited number of spaces and age caps to ensure the best possible experience for our students. If the show is already full, you will be placed onto a waiting list when signing up for your audition slot.  See Audition Questions for more info.

Scholarship: Don't let financial circumstances prevent you from registering for our classes. Please reach out to tamara@cytsantacruz.org if you have a financial need. We want you at CYT!
Refunds:  We know that plans change so you can request a cancellation of your class registration fee up until Friday, August 28th and you will be refunded the registration cost, minus a $30 administration fee.  No refunds will be issued once the show cast list is released.  
All refunds are returned to the original form of payment. 
Class changes are subject to availability until August 28.
