If you want to be part of CYT's worship team, you’ve come to the right place! This class will be focused on preparing and practicing two songs with the heart, skill and confidence it takes to lead worship. Additionally, we will unpack what worship is and why it matters! Each of our shows has a limited number of spaces and age caps to ensure the best possible experience for our students. If the show is already full, you will be placed onto a waiting list when signing up for your audition slot.  See Audition Questions for more info. 
 
Class Attendance: Conflict Policy
 
Scholarship: Don't let financial circumstances prevent you from registering for our classes. Please reach out to tamara@cytsantacruz.org if you have a financial need. We want you at CYT!
Refunds:  We know that plans change so you can request a cancellation of your class registration fee up until Friday, August 28th and you will be refunded the registration cost, minus a $30 administration fee.  No refunds will be issued once the show cast list is released.  
All refunds are returned to the original form of payment. 
Class changes are subject to availability until August 28.

Brooke and Hunter Novak

Brooke Novak has been an actor, coach, teacher and director in the Bay Area, San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York. She has performed under Tony award winning directors on some of the most acclaimed regional theatres in the country. She has received nine nominations for her directing work and multiple awards (including “teacher of the year”) while at Valley Christian High School. Brooke’s passion is bringing what she has learned to young people, helping them combine excellent training with their faith! Brooke is a graduate of Occidental College (BA), the USD Old Globe/Professional Actor Training Program (MFA), and a proud member of Actor’s Equity. Hunter grew up immersed in music and the church, starting piano in second grade and drums in sixth, and later attending Belmont University in Nashville as a vocal performance major with a focus in classical piano. For the past 14 years, he's played drums on the worship team at Saratoga Federated Church. For Hunter, worship comes alive most when he's playing — locking in with a group of musicians to create something together goes deeper for him than just standing and singing. He's excited to help young musicians discover that same connection between performing with a group and experiencing worship.
